Today my parents came home from a month long trip overseas and we talked about many things including my professional and personal goals. I expressed my interest in becoming a fashion designer and as usual, parents expressed their a very pessimistic view about a career in fashion design. It was quite depressing really. Last thing I need in my life right now is a discouragement.
